The visionary Heinfried Wolfgang Kress gave rise to what today is the Group Kress. Originally from Babstadt, a town in Baden-Württemberg – Germany, emigrated and found fertile land in Paraguay, in 1977. Progress was made to invest all your savings and generated an entire emporio productive, being the pioneer in the fruit growing on a large scale.

Mr. Kress passed away in 1998, with his wife Beate took the reins of the business that is already in that era was prosperous. Later, the daughter of the couple, Cristina Kress, in 2008, was able to continue the legacy of their parents and until today is CEO of the corporate conglomerate.

The Group Kress has grown to become a symbol of the agro-industry, education and community development in the country. Today generates employment to more than 800 people, promotes agricultural production and fruit, it produces high-quality food and contributes to the formation of new generations.
